“When I made the decision to join Primerica, I was the mother of two girls, ages one and three. I was working 10 to 12 hours a day as a manager of a nuclear power plant, miserably working my way up to senior management levels. I knew I was missing out on my children’s lives. But then something changed. I began part-time with Primerica in 1993 and was earning a great income within two years.

“In the beginning, my challenges were all mental. I was concerned about what people would think after I invested so much time and money in college, grad school and my career. I was starting over. I wasn’t used to people saying ‘no’ to me or not showing up. I wondered if I had done the right thing for my family when I received some wonderful advice: Get over it. Take control of your life, your time, your dreams and just do it. So I did! Today my husband is in the business with me, we now have four wonderful children and a business that provides us freedom — with our time and our money!”
