“One of the most powerful forces in the world is a woman with her mind made up,” says Georgia‑based Frances Avrett, who today earns nearly $961,000 a year with her Primerica business.*
Back in 1981, Frances was a wife and mother of five with a sick husband, a high school diploma and 20 years’ experience raising children and running a greenhouse. She had to make a decision. “I needed at least $50,000 a year to be able to take care of my family and my husband’s health problem.”
Unfortunately, all the jobs Frances was qualified for didn’t pay very well. During this time, a trusted friend asked Frances to go into business with him. She didn’t even ask what the product was. “I just asked how much money I could make! I needed to know if I could make that $50,000 a year. I had a big purpose. I was on a mission. My husband had strokes at a young age and I wanted our family and him to have dignity. When you’re sick, it’s bad. When you’re sick and don’t have money, it’s real bad,” Frances recalls.
Restoring Our Dignity
Because of the success of her Primerica business, Frances was able to do that and more. She was able to provide her husband, Lee, with intensive medical care that extended his life an additional 18 years. “When he went into the hospital the last time before his death, the doctor told me Lee shouldn’t have lived the last 12 years. Because of my ability to earn a larger income, I was able to stabilize his health by providing incredible medical attention.” Primerica’s business opportunity structure also allowed Frances to take time off to assist Lee when he needed it, without her income being affected.
Frances’ business success also allowed the couple to travel extensively during this time, including trips to Europe, Hawaii, Alaska, Canada and Mexico. “My purpose was to give him a life of dignity, in spite of his condition,” says Frances. “And he was able to see the business grow. He was very proud of me.”
Since Lee’s passing, Frances enjoys traveling with her family and “doing special things for each family member. I have the freedom to make my own hours,” says Frances proudly.
There Is a Place for You Here
“Women are tired of working so hard and having no place to go, and struggling to keep their family priorities in order,” Frances says. “You can do both at Primerica. You can create a business that will generate recurring income for you, and allow you the freedom to manage your time.”
Frances’ financial freedom and flexible schedule allow her to bring her family together in many ways. For example, she once took 25 members of her family to Hawaii for a two‑week trip – and picked up the tab. “No matter what your goals are, there is a place for you here,” says Frances. “If you want to make $50,000, there is a place for you. If you want to work part‑time and make an extra $1,000 a month, there’s a place for you.** If you want the potential of a six‑figure income, there’s a place for you, too. You can reach your dreams through Primerica.”
*Primerica income figures are based upon rolling 12-month gross cash flow (including advances) as of September 2011. The cash flows stated are not intended to demonstrate the earnings of typical RVPs/representatives. Rather, the cash flows that have been cited reflect the potential that comes with building your business, and there is no guarantee that you will achieve any specific cash flow level. Most RVPs/representatives do not achieve the levels illustrated. In the 12-month period ending in December 2010, Primerica paid a total of $503,115,928 in compensation to the sales force at an average of $5,296 per licensed representative. Average RVP earnings are typically higher. Actual gross cash flow is, among other factors, dependent upon the size and scale of a representative’s organization, the number of sales and the override spread on each sale, and the ability and efforts of you and your downlines. Having said this, Primerica provides a tremendous opportunity for individuals who work hard and who desire to develop a business with strong income potential.
