“I always loved sports and competition as I was growing up. As a young girl, my mother always talked to me about going to college so when I graduated I could get a good job, work hard and be successful and independent. I graduated and found a position working with developmentally disabled children in a state hospital. I spent the first five years immersed in my job, and the next five years looking for a way out. I always had part-time jobs, but could not find anything that I felt had the security of a substantial career. I always wanted something where I could plant my flag, pour my heart into it, and do something special with my life. When I sat in my first Primerica meeting, I saw a clean, wholesome environment where I didn’t have to play politics, kiss up to anyone or go to cocktail parties to earn my promotions. They told me if I worked hard I could earn a lot of money. I was already working hard, I just wasn’t earning a lot of money.
“I am more excited today than I have ever been. I love Primerica! I have a purpose-driven life, and I can’t wait to wake up each day and do something important. I thank God every day that I have the opportunity to do something I love… something that allows me to pour my heart into others and make a fortune. I believe that I was born to do this business and I feel like the happiest person in the world!”
